RECREATIONAL GYMNASTICS SPRING SESSION 2010
Schedule
The Spring Session will be starting on March 27th. There will be a total of 10 classes.

We offer many different classes:
Tumble Bugs - 1.5yrs - 3 yrs
Cost $105.00
45min class. Start times are:
Tuesday 10:30

- An adult and child participation class. This is class is for children ages 1 1/2 years old to 3 years. This class is designed to help your child start to learn to manipulate their bodies! They get to try to walk on our balance beams, hang on the bars and jump on the trampoline - all with your help!
Tumble Bunnies - 3 - 4 yrs
Cost $105.00
1 hour class. Start times are:

- This class is for children ages 3 and 4 - no parents!! Your child can move into the Tumble Bunnies class when they are 3yrs and feel confident on the floor without you. Their coach will take them on a variety of events and help them with their coordination.
Tumble Bears - 5 - 6 yrs
Cost $110.00
1 hour class. Start times are:

- This class is for children ages 5 and 6. They must be enrolled in kindergarten before entering this class. As a Tumble Bear your child will start to begin to work on their rolls and and supports. Their coach will take them on a variety of events and start to help increase their confidence on the apparatus.
Beginner Girls - 7 and up
Cost $110.00
Class time are 1.5 hours. Start times are:

- This class is for girls ages 7 and up. As a beginner girl they will enter the CanGym Program. This is a National Program designed by the experts at Gymnastics Canada Gymnastique. CanGym was developed for beginner and advanced recreational gymnasts. The program is divided into levels with each level building on the skills learned previously.
Intermediate Girls - 7 yrs and up
Cost $120.00
Class times are 1.5 hours. Start times are:
Saturday 1:00
- This class is for girls ages 7 and up. As an intermediate girl they will continue in the CanGym Program. This is a National Program designed by the experts and Gymnastics Canada Gymnastique. CanGym was developed for beginner and advanced recreational gymnasts. The program is divided into levels with each level building on the skills learned previously.
Advanced Girls 7 yrs and up
This class is 1.5 hours. Start times are:
- This class is for girls ages 7 and up. As an advanced girl they will continue in the CanGym Program. This is a National Program designed by the experts and Gymnastics Canada Gymnastique. CanGym was developed for beginner and advanced recreational gymnasts. The program is divided into levels with each level building on the skills learned previously.
Boys - 7 yrs and up
Cost $110.00
This class is 1.5 hours. Start times are:

- This class is for boys ages 7 and up. The boys in these classes will continue to work within the CanGym program. CanGym is a National Program designed by the experts and Gymnastics Canada Gymnastique. CanGym was developed for beginner and advanced recreational gymnasts. The program is divided into levels with each level building on the skills learned previously.
Developmental Group
This is a new program that we will be starting this year and is for those gymnasts 9 and older who love doing gymnastics! The class will run on 2 different weekdays. Class length is two hours; twice a week. Gymnasts will be on each event a longer amount of time and become more involved in the sport by learning, holding and maintaining proper body shapes, becoming more flexible, stable and stronger! These classes are a combination of our recreational program and our competitive program. They will run on a session schedule and children will receive progress reports at the end of each session. The progress reports will indicate the types of skills and drills the athletes have been working on each event.
The Developmental Group will be Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00 - 6:00pm.
The classes will start on Tuesday, March 30th and finish Thursday, June 10th
Cost: $275.00
Registration
Registration Guidelines:
- The line up for the Fall Session for 2009 was quite lengthy! Please come expecting a long wait time. We only have one visa machine and need to fill out the necessary paper work as time goes on.
- All fees are due in full at time of registration - for NEW members there is a $20.00 membership fee that you must add to the cost of the session; this fee is paid once a year (September - August).
- All registrations will only be accepted in person (either by you or a friend); we do not accept telephone or email registration
- We will accept late registrations if there is space available.
- There is a 10% discount for the second child.
- There is a $20.00 YGA membership fee for new members.
Receipts
Your original receipt is a child tax receipt and is tax deductible. All requests for duplicate receipts will be subject to a $15.00 administration fee.
